Our purpose is in our name. “Salad” means we will bring you the wholesome goodness of the entire fruit or vegetable, and “Snack” means we crafted it to be eaten more enjoyably.
SnackSalad was developed for the many customers who wish to get the healthy benefits of eating salad and fruit more often, but to do so in a more delicious way. It is a brand-new, natural and tasty appetizer food serving a wide variety of needs.
You can eat it any way you want. You can have it as a salad substitute...as a side dish for lunch or dinner...as a topping...as an appetizer...or as a simple refreshment. It can be enjoyed for just about any occasion.
SnackSalad does not necessarily emphasize the special benefits or healthy effects provided by the many fruits and vegetables it uses. Rather, as much as possible, we have tried to establish the product as one that provides the “wholesome goodness of the ingredients”. In other words, because we only use stringently selected ingredients, the taste, smell, color, shape and nutrients are naturally sealed-in, providing its unique characteristics.
Additionally, by bringing out the flavors of the ingredients themselves, we developed a light and delicate taste that, hopefully, will be accepted by an even wider range of customers.
We are focused on unique ingredients that have played an important role in the history and culture of our civilization.
The first ingredient we chose was peas. Peas contain an abundant amount of protein, fiber, vitamins and minerals. And not only do they contain beneficial ingredients, but they are also thought to be the next major contributor to the global food chain supply.
However, for those of us that are accustomed to eating animal protein, its distinctive flavor is somewhat difficult to consume. In fact, all of us can remember being scolded by our mother or grandmother to eat our peas.
At SnackSalad, we have managed to leverage the innate goodness of peas in a delicious way. We have been successful in leaving the goodness of the ingredient intact, while taking out the pea's unpalatable flavor. As you can see, the SnackSalad brand has taken a traditionally beneficial food and, by applying our professional process and experienced craftsmanship, have developed products that meet the new values of our customers.
